When the guitarist and vocalist for Bob Marley and the Wailers, joins with the Bassist and bandleader from Peter Tosh, throw in a who’s who of renowned Reggae musicians & visionaries you know something special will happen.  That something special is known as the Tosh Meets Marley Tour.  This celebration of 2 of the greatest artists of all times, is going to make a special stop in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, at the sight of Auburns infamous Party in the Park, and everyone is invited! (By the way, thanks to Feb. 29^th, this year’s show will be held on the Summer Solstice!)

 Party in the Park is not just a concert.  This annual event brings a fun evening for the entire family to enjoy.  This is an event where mom and dad can sit on the soft grass of our natural amphitheater (or more likely this year be dancin’ on Auburns biggest barefoot dance floor), while the kids are safely playing on the giant kids area.  Of course as with any good party, we bring in the best BBQ Pit around, not to mention a good supply of ice cold beverages.  To further add to the event, there are a selection of craft and informational booths to peruse during slow times.

 The evening kicks off around 5, and we suggest an early arrival as the parking is best, and the park has plenty to enjoy.  The warm up band will strike up and the bbq’s will be burning.  For those who need to get back from work first, no worries – the Tosh Meet’s Marley tour will not start before 7,  plenty of time to head up the hill (or down as the case may be)
